As we all know, 2020 turned out to be one of the most miserable years of all time. COVID-19 really took a toll on the economy and everyone around the world wanted to get this horrible year behind us. Ironically, business was booming for many of us - work felt busier than ever, yet we were in a perpetual loop like Groundhogs Day the movie.
Unfortunately for us, Hawaii had closed its doors to all tourists, and so our return to the Big Island did not materialize. We ended up staying local and we spent some time in Yosemite, where we got ourselves at cabin at Tenaya Lodge. We spent our Thanksgiving eating turkey in near freezing temperatures outside. We had a great time - no complaints! We promised ourselves that we would make up for it in 2021.
The fires in California changed the colors of the air for some time.
